Busy Construction of Undersea High-Speed Rail Tunnel

　　

       On February 25, workers were engaged in segment assembly inside the "Yongzhou" tunnel boring machine for the Jintang Submarine Tunnel of the Ningbo-Zhoushan Railway. Stretching from Beilun District in Ningbo to Jintang Town in Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province, the tunnel spans 16.18 kilometers, making it the world's longest undersea high-speed rail tunnel.
